Calibrating Oxa Follow
When setting up the Oxa sensor for the first time, Oxa asks you to complete two breathing cycles with the sensor clipped to your garment. This calibration teaches the sensor the range of your breath between inhalation and exhalation. After the initial setup, the Oxa sensor continuously adjusts the minimum and maximum limits of your breathing around your continuously calculated mid-point as you perform an exercise or simply monitor yourself.
Recalibrating will reset the range of your breath between inhalation and exhalation. This may be necessary if you switch to a different garment, or if you want to reset the baseline values.
To re-calibrate:
- Open Oxa Life.
- Log in to your account.
- Select your profile in the top left corner. The Settings window appears.
- Select Calibration.
- Follow the on-screen instructions.
- Return to the Me screen to start your next exercise.
Oxa’s built-in calibration happens automatically on the first set-up or can be repeated manually (for example, when changing garments) from the Settings menu.
